The Lake Mburo located only an hours drive from Mbarara City is famous for the Zebras, the boat safari along Lake Mburo, Horse riding, walking safaris a variety of wildlife ranging from Elephants, Leopards, Buffaloes, Hippos among other surprises.

1 day Lake Mburo National Park Safari Itinerary from Mbarara.

We depart Mbarara at 5.30 am and drive appx, 1 hours to begin our game drive in Queen which lasts another 3 hours. We take a lunch break at one of the nice lodges for an hour. Then drive to the starting point for the boat safari along the Lake Mburo which lasts for 2 hours. After which we head back to Mbarara arriving late evening.
